“UF MAX 2” Special Protective Suit (Protective Clothing for Firefighters)
Fully complies with the technical requirements for the Special Protective Suit (Protective Clothing for Firefighters) “Type 2” approved by Protocol No. 6 dated 27.04.2023 (as amended on 04.08.2023 No. 17).
The PPE meets the requirements of the state standards of Ukraine:
Technical Regulations on Personal Protective Equipment, Decree of CMU dated 21.08.2019 No. 771;
- NSU EN 469:2017 “Protective clothing for firefighters”
- NSU EN ISO 13688:2016 (ENISO 13688:2013, IDT; ISO 13688:2013, IDT) “Protective clothing. General requirements”
- NSU ENISO 11612: 2018 Protective clothing. Clothing for protection against heat and flame. Minimum technical requirements
- NSU EN 343:2017 Protective clothing. Protection against rain (EN 343:2003 + A1:2007; AC:2009, IDT) – water resistance class – “3”
- NSU ENISO 20471:2016 (ENISO 20471:2013, IDT; ISO 20471:2013, IDT; ENISO 20471:2013/A1:2016, IDT; ISO 20471:2013/Amd 1:2016, IDT) “High visibility clothing. Test methods and requirements” – class 1 clothing.
The PPE is made of the following layers of materials:
1 heat-resistant layer – aramid fabric, composed of 93% meta-aramid, 5% para-aramid, 2% antistatic;
2 waterproof layer – aramid fiber fabric, composed of 80% meta-aramid, 20% para-aramid laminated with ePTFE;
3 and 4 combined layers – heat-insulating layer, composed of 80% meta-aramid, 20% para-aramid and lining layer, composed of 50% meta-aramid, 50% fire-resistant viscose.
The following materials are used in the production:
- Wear-resistant materials for knee pads to prevent dirt, liquids, etc. from affecting clothing elements – 100% meta-aramid with a one-sided silicone-carbon coating;
- material for wristbands – cuffs made of 100% meta-aramid;
- signal strips – composed of 100% meta-aramid;
- central side zipper – aramid-based with a quick-release mechanism. TOP-OP.
The PPE consists of a jacket and a half overalls. All joints of garment parts are made with aramid fiber threads.
It has a lining layer fastened to the main layer of the jacket and overalls around the perimeter.
