TYTAN NEO Firefighter-Rescuer Helmet

The helmet is designed for firefighters and rescuers. It can be used during rescue operations on water, in the mountains, on roads, and by search and rescue teams. The helmet can be used during natural disasters, such as forest firefighting, as well as in industrial accidents.

The helmet meets the requirements:

  • Technical Regulations for Personal Protective Equipment, Resolution of the CMU dated 21.08.2019 No. 771;
  • NSU EN 16473:2017 (EN 16473:2014, IDT) Fire-fighting helmets. Helmets for technical rescue;
  • NSU EN 12492:2015 (EN 12492:2012, IDT) Mountaineering equipment. Helmets for climbers. Safety requirements and test methods;
  • NSU EN 1385:2017 (EN 1385:2012, IDT) Helmets for paddlers engaged in water sports in canoes and on rivers with a rapid water flow;
  • NSU EN 14458:2019 (EN 14458:2018, IDT) Personal protective equipment for eyes. High-performance visors intended for use only with protective helmets.

Features:

  • Ergonomic, very lightweight helmet design;
  • Excellent protection and performance parameters;
  • Highest level of safety;
  • Full protection at low and high temperatures (-30°C ÷ +50°C);
  • Ability to absorb impacts;
  • Resistance to puncture by a steel ball at a speed of 120 m/s;
  • Resistance to side compression forces;
  • Resistance to liquid chemicals, hot solids;
  • Protection against short-term contact with electrical wire residues under alternating voltage up to 440 V;
  • All external components of the helmet, including chin straps, are flame retardant.

Construction:

  • Lightweight and robust injection-molded helmet shell, available in all colors (also photoluminescent), equipped with reflective tape as standard. The helmet shell is equipped with a ventilation panel and an optional insect net. The inside of the helmet has an impact-absorbing insole for high-performance protection. The helmets can be personalized by adding the names of firefighting units.
  • Additional equipment can include a socket for a flashlight and handles for communication systems.
  • Transparent face shield – class 1 optical visor, meets the requirements of standards for protective masks used in fire helmets
  • FHR safety goggles with anti-scratch/fog coating, compliant with personal eye protection standards
  • Universal socket for attaching a respirator and flashlights. Full adjustment of the flashlight angle with a respirator is possible. Hearing protection and face shields can be attached.
  • Headphone holder and face shield
  • Three-point chin strap with buckle. Quick, comfortable, and stable attachment of the helmet to the head thanks to the adjustable circumference (from 47 to 68 cm).
  • A silicone chin guard is an accessory.
  • Short collar made of non-combustible fabric.
  • Large ergonomic circumference adjustment handle.
